Welcome to the magical resort of Beqa Lagoon... luxurious and affordable at the same time.
Right off the coast of the main island of Viti Levu , it offers you easy access as well as all the seclusion of a Fijian dream.
If you travel to recreate, eat fine food, if you are looking for romance, or simply want to relax in a tropical paradise, Beqa Lagoon Resort is what you're looking for.
Its most striking feature is its seclusion.
Only fifteen square kilometers, Beqa Island has no roads, no towns and only a few isolated villages scattered around the perimeter. The island is skirted by stretches of sandy beach laced with mysterious tide pools.
We often spent hours before sunset picking up shells and broken coral along the beach and watching strange little starfish that move quickly using their legs like an octopus.
Although the resort grounds are neatly groomed, colorful island critters still have free range. At dinner one night, a little green gecko no bigger than a dragonfly scurried up our neighbor's leg, sat and stared a bit, then scuttled away. At night crabs march across the lawn to the beach.
Just behind the resort the land slopes gently upward into a tropical forest. Further into the forest one comes across a fresh water stream descending from a waterfall just about a mile from the resort . Here the thick jungle vegetation occasionally gives way to patches of sweet potatoes, pineapples and taro root, but all in all, the land remains pristine. Tropical flowers bloom everywhere, and the tables at the resort are always filled with fresh cuttings.
If you hike a short way up the hillside, you will find yourself at the base of an impressive waterfall. After cooling off a bit in the pool you can hike further up the path.
And right at sunset you hit the top of the trail where you can look out over the entire lagoon. With a little more ambition and time you could hike to the top of the mountain where you can see the entire island from one place.

Our chef Laniana prepares a wide variety of dishes that amaze even the most experienced gourmet. And the deserts… She will knock you off your feet with them. The presentation is always beautiful, and the open air Bure Kalou (dining room) is scenic and refreshing. Dining at Beqa Lagoon is an unexpectedly pleasant blend of high class gourmet dining and casual elegance.
We offer meal package with 28 choices of the main course every week. Ordering your lunch and dinner in the morning will allow us to cook the meals in the right way – so, if this particular dish needs to be cooked for 2 hours, so it will be done. And it also ensures that you only get fresh products, as we do not need to keep anything in stock for long time “just in case”.

Surrounded by over 190 miles of spectacular coral, Beqa Lagoon is one of the worlds largest barrier reefs. Diving these calm protected waters is like exploring another world. The water is clear and warm, visibility is typically over 100 feet, currents are mild, and the water temperature stays a fairly constant 80 F (26.5 C). Many of the most spectacular dive sights are only a few minutes from shore, and if you stayed long enough, you could explore over 100 different sights! The Dive Masters at Beqa Lagoon have been diving in these waters since they were children and are some of the most caring people you ever meet. Our divers know every reef and coral head, and if you stay close they will show you some of the most intriguing creatures ever. Blue Ribbon Eels, Clown Triggers, Lion Fish, Leaf Scorpions, Reef Sharks and millions of colorful Anthias and Fusiliers all abound in these waters.

Fishing at Beqa Lagoon is favored all year around. It is simply great for everyone. Troll for the adrenaline rush, experience the thrill of fighting with a yellow fin tuna. Beqa lagoon is waters haven’t been extensively explored, so you always come with a good game. July to November is great for Black Marlin hunt. July through August is the best time if you are after Blue Marlin, Wahoo and Spanish Mackerel. June is the month when the water boils with Yellow Tuna. And February is the time for Barracuda. We have big fast boats and the best equipment to insure your hunt is always successful.

One of our big advantages is a huge cultural experience you can get on Beqa. As we are located close to Fijian villages, we arrange village visits with our guides. You can see how the Fijians live, the lifestyle that changed very little over the last hundred of years. Visit to local school is a big event – the kids love guests and set up great performances for them.
On any given week, just a few feet from the Bure Kalou, the guests of Beqa Lagoon have the exclusive privilege of witnessing the sacred fire walking ceremony. Early in the day, young men from the neighboring village carry large branches to the resort and build an enormous bonfire underneath a pile of stones. When the fire is low and the stones are glowing red, the warriors reappear in ceremonial dress. The eldest begins a deep resonant chant, and slowly, one by one, the very young to the very old walk carefully across the scalding stones. In 1994, a group of reporters from National Geographic visited our resort to document the sacred fire walking ceremony. They were accompanied by a scientist who measured the heat of the stones at over 1200 degrees Fahrenheit (650 degrees Celsius). He also examined the firewalkers thoroughly though could offer no explanation as to what makes the ceremony possible.
On Wednesday you can participate in famous kava ceremony. In Fiji, the drink yaqona (kava) played an important part in public business and social life. Made from the dried roots of the shrub Piper methysticum, the kava root is cut into small pieces and then grated to a pulp and steeped in water.
Meke, the traditional Fijian dance and singing show, is not to be missed.
And of course, visit to the nearby capital of Fiji, Suva, can be a great experience for you.

Fijians have the sweetest voices on Earth and hearing them singing will reassure you are in paradise. Meke Each week you can enjoy traditional Fijian performance, meke, through which Fijians express themselves and narrate stories of their life. You will be able to see the women dancing and singing and ancient dance of warriors. Other entertainment includes:

. Snorkel – put on a mask and fins anytime. One of the resort’s distinctive features is that coral reef heads thrive just a few feet from the beach. Even if you do not dive, you will be able to see many wonders of Beqa Lagoon, such as clown fish, lion fish, lobsters, live corals and lots of other tropical creatures. Or, you could take an Open Water Diving Course and become a PADI certified diver.
. Kayaking – grab a single or double kayak and explore the secluded islands and beautiful beaches.

. Secluded island picnic is another way to spend your time – our boat will take you to a tiny island, where you can snorkel and bath in the sun.

Beqa Lagoon Resort private villas (called bures) are large and luxurious.
Tucked in the coconut trees, just a few meters back from the beach, each bure is elegantly finished with rattan and bamboo and decorated with colorful splashes of fabric and works of art.
Every bure is an air conditioned mini-suite with a spectacular marble lined bath, a king poster bed and a sitting room with a double bed. Every porch has a table, lounge chairs and a wonderful view. And if you walk a few meters in towards the beach, you will find a cozy hammock to hunker down with your loved one or a good book.
In addition to our standard bures we now have spacious (1000 sq.f. – 100 sq.m.) 2-bedroom bures that are perfect for families. See the picture in the middle above.
These Bures have air conditioning, one and a half baths and are elegantly furnished with artwork as the villas. The upstairs units have a balcony and downstairs have porches. Now you can bring your family to paradise in style.

Beqa Lagoon is not on the island of Viti Levu, but slightly off the coast. So even if the most striking feature of Beqa Lagoon is its seclusion, at the same time it is easy to reach : Beqa Island is just 8 km South off Viti Levu, or 130 km from Nadi International Airport.

Transfers
-Transfer from Nadi airport to Pacific Harbour Boat launch will come at a rate of USD 100.00 per round trip.
-Transfer from Pacific Harbour Boat launch to Beqa Lagoon Resort Boat will come at a rate of USD 60.00 per round trip.
Payment Requirements
For your convenience, Internet Travel Group offers secure online payments with the following credit cards: Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please note that, should you prefer, you are able to supply your credit card information by fax. We are unable to accept your reservation request without credit card details, though you will only be billed once your booking has been confirmed, the credit card information verified and our confirmation voucher sent to you by email.
Deposit
To secure the booking a 25% deposit is charged to the credit card at the time of confirmation.
Balance
The 80% balance is charged 3 weeks prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy
-If cancellation is received 22 days or more prior to arrival, then a 25% of the full amount will be lost.
-If a cancellation is received 21 days or less prior to arrival, then the full amount will apply as a penalty.
-No shows will result on the full amount being charged as a cancellation fee.
Children Policy
-Children over the age of 12 are considered as adults.
-Children under the age of 12 will get a 50% discount on room rates.
-Children under 12 will get a 50% discount on meal rates.
-Children requiring their own room are charged as adults.

Internet Travel Group acts as intermediary between all hotels, transport operators, tourist attraction companies, and local tourist offices providing the services. Internet Hotel Rental Group is therefore not responsible for any loss, injury or damage sustained by the tourists; including those occurring outside of the touring programs. Additional expenses incurred due to delay, accident, acts of God or political actions / unrest must be borne by the tourists. Price & Payment
Unless otherwise stated, at the time of booking only a deposit is due. The remanining balance is payable on check-in and charged by the hotel direct. hotel-savings.com accepts Visa, Mastercard & American Express.
For security purposes, should your reservation incur a charge in excess of USD 400.00, you must submit a signed credit card authorization form. This will be supplied upon confirmation of the reservation. If you fail to fax across this documentation within 48 hours, we reserve the right to cancel the reservation. Please note that as per our cancellation policy, there may be a fee for this.
Flight Information
If you are to arrive at your hotel after 5pm, please provide Hotelrentalgroup with your flight information, so that we may be able to advise the hotel of what time they can expect you. Should your flight be delayed, we strongly recommend that you contact the hotel directly to inform them of this.
Period of Stay / Rate Calculation
All stays are calculated and sold "per night". We can only guarantee a room until noon (12pm). Late check-outs can be requested at the moment of reservation in the additional comments box, but may come at an additional fee (usually 50% of the nightly rate).
Cancellation Policies & Charges
Cancellations must be received in writing by e-mail, with as much notice as possible. Penalty fees may apply. Please check the terms & conditions, as these policies vary from hotel to hotel.
Cancellation Charges On All Reservations
-On all confirmed reservations, 20% of the total amount will be lost.
-Further cancellation charges may apply depending on the hotel.
Please check the specific terms & conditions for each hotel.
No Shows
No Shows will result in a 100% penalty fee.
Reservation & Confirmation
All reservations made on the web sites operated by hotel-savings.com will receive a temporary confirmation number. This temporary number does not mean that the hotel room is available and is only for administrative purposes. Your final confirmation will be sent to you on your official confirmation voucher within 24 hours, unless, due to unforeseen circumstances, the hotel does not get back to us within this time frame. hotel-savings.com is not responsible for any such delays.
Early departures
In addition to the standard cancellation policy, we would like to stress the point that the hotels are very strict regarding changes to the length of clients’ stays. Therefore we would like to inform you that clients departing before their booked check out date will be charged for the remaining nights and, no being made for unused nights.
Check In & Check Out Policy
Your room will be made available to you from 14h00 (unless stated otherwise in the terms & conditions of the hotel). Should you require a guaranteed early check in, the room must be booked and paid for in full for the day preceeding your stay.
Check out time is 12:00 hrs. For a guaranteed late check-out, clients should book for an additional night, charged at 100%.

All special offers, packages and discounts over our standard rates are offered subject to availability. hotel-savings.com cannot accept any responsibility in the unlikely event that these are temporarily unavailable.
Credit Card
In order to secure a room, it is mandatory to have a credit card.
General Conditions and liability
All reservations made by clients are subject to our terms and conditions. No other terms, conditions and warranties, expressed or implied by law, custom and course of dealing shall form part of any contract between hotel-savings.com and our clients except for those terms imposed by law where application is mandatory.
The client acknowledges that in making a reservation with hotel-savings.com they do so only on the basis of the material contained in the hotel-savings.com Web Site or relevant advertising medium. All other statements or representations made by hotel-savings.com, its employees, agents or sub-contractors are of no effect unless confirmed in writing by hotel-savings.com to the client.
hotel-savings.com sources hotels from various hotel companies in the countries in which it operates. The condition of the stay will be subject to the law of the country in which it is supplied to you. You will be subject to its terms and conditions and local law.
hotel-savings.com reserves the right to pass on to the client any government increase in local VAT or other taxes that may be introduced after a reservation is made. Any additional charges payable on arrival are subject to local VAT at the prevailing rate in that country.
The liability of hotel-savings.com to the client for any loss, problem, damage or cancellation, whether arising out of negligence, breach of contract, error or any other cause shall not exceed the invoiced total value of the confirmation voucher supplied by hotel-savings.com.
