Location. Located on Malolo Island in the Mamanuca Archipelago, 25 kilometers (15.5 miles) west of the Fijian town of Nadi on V iti Levu, this resort is set directly on the sands of Likuliku Lagoon. Behind, the tropical forest offers many nature trails and bush walks.
Hotel Features. Guests arriving at Likuliku Lagoon Resort disembark at Masima Islet and enter the Arrivals 'bure' (house) and bar. From there it is a short walk across the lagoon to the reception, which is built in the manner of a traditional Fijian canoe house. Close by is the guest lounge, offering satellite television, a DVD library and player, games, CDs and a book library as well as shower, change and luggage-storage facilities for early arrivals/late departures. A complimentary wireless Internet hotspot is also located in this area. The Fijian restaurant has views of the garden, lagoon and outdoor pool, and provides both indoor and outdoor seating. In addition to the indulgences offered by the Tatadra Spa, guests can enjoy snorkeling in the lagoon, working out in the fitness center or walking on some of the nature trails in the tropical forest behind the resort.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms are all set close to the lagoon and offer easy access through large windows and doors onto furnished wooden decks. All rooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans. Interior décor focuses on wood and other natural materials; furnishings include sofas, armchairs, tables and refrigerators. There are indoor and outdoor showers, and bathrooms offer complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and beach towels. Rooms also contain telephones, music systems, tea/coffee makers and in-room safes. In addition, guests receive complimentary Fiji water, fresh-baked cookies and sarongs; minibar items are available upon request.
Expert Tip. One of the primary highlights of this resort is its seclusion, so guests are advised to bring along essential clothing and leisure items, rather than relying on these being available on site.
